What should the water temperature be for your babys first bath?

  • check it w/your elbow, should be comfy not hot. our baby tub has a little thermometer in the bottom and its usually between 95 and 98, but if i go lower than that he gets mad b/c he's cold. so he likes it warm, my dd liked it to be between 92 and 95, so every baby is gonna be different in their preference.

  • I went according to the feel on my wrist. They do also have thermometers you can put in the tub that change color if its too warm. I used to run a hot shower for a few minutes to warm up the bathroom before going in.
