  • bullying is bad because, no matter face to face or behind someone's back as gossip or over the internet it takes away selfesteem that's not yet grown. Plus bullying takes down selfesteem that's starting to grow. Cyber bullying like any other kind is its like stalking in that the person attacking is scary and scaring.

I saw this as an observation from what I'm reading in your question and that's that I think you've never been horrifically bullied in person or long distance.

  • why not read articles about children who were already depressed and got bullied at school. then went home, where they should feel safe and got bullied there as well online, so killed themselves? i'd take it no one ever picked on you or your kids, and if someone does start to pick on your kids i'll feel bad for them considering that is the response they'd get from their mother. you must have been the bully in school.

  • Are you serious? Do you think kids at school that continuously call other kids names is ok because it "builds character"? Pull your head out of the sand and realize that kids kill themselves because of cyber bullying. It is wrong to bully anyone in any manner.

To the PP that said that your mother must have been the bully in school, I disagree, I think it was YOU who was and is the bully. GROW UP!!!!

  • to believe that bulying in any format is "not actually doing anything" is ridiculous!
the impact words and actions have on our children is tremendous - it can wipe away their self confidence, damage their self image, not to mention the fear that will still run through them when they are bullied!
if you know of anyone bullying, please intervene and report it or try to stop it.
