  • uhm well sure. Every month there's a growth plus active growth activity. I'm surprised an ob did an ultrasound so early. Not sure what could be seen then? Congratulations!!!!! Baby's growth will be felt and seen sometimes almost overnight, othertimes takes awhile!!

  • It does happen, but the later the ultrasounds, the less precise.
Earlier ultrasounds will be more accurate.

  • 1059anony here- Sorry, I meant the faster or slower growth of the baby changes the due date. Ultrasounds have their due dates and lmp have their due dates and pregger belly size can be another judge of due date. All of that bring about an aofficial due date.

  • It's possible, but the earlier ultrasounds are generally more accurate for that kind of development.

  • My Dr. changed my due date at least 5 times when I was pregnant with my daughter. She got too big I guess so they thought I was further along.

  • Probably not unless the change is significant

  • I would really only pay attention to the ultrasound due date change if it is significantly different from your LMP due date. sometimes they only change by a day or two, but if they change it by a few weeks then I would be prepared to see your LO a bit sooner than you originally expected

  • i've been wondering this same thing, 'cause when i got my first u/s, they put me at november 15 & since my last one at 22 weeks, the Dr. said november 3! I'm not really going by any date, just expecting her to arrive sometime in the month of november..haha.
