  • Not 13, maybe 16. I had mine done at 17. Only if she could pull it off though. She's not walking around looking like a jackass.

  • Don't have a 13 year old (yet), but I would say no. That's too young IMO. A cartilage piercing is more than enough at that age..

  • What will she put in it? Can she care for it? I don't know, maybe.

  • Okay so I am not completely crazy! I am her step mom and her father told her no. I agree with him. and gave her the reasoning behind our opinion . We told her at 16 at the soonest. Her older sister 16, just got hers done for her birthday.....(not my husbands child, kids have same mom) and now she wont let up. At least I know I am not alone

  • Oh boy, I'm glad I've got time before I have to worry about this! I think you're right to ask her to wait though.

  • My children as still young, but I would say no. 13 is just too young... Maybe 16?

  • MY 13yo, no.
This is just because she wouldnt take care of it.

  • No even though I have piercings and tattoos I did not have any of them done ( besides my ears ) until I was 18 and older. So my rule will be no piercing or tattoos till 18 ( except ears ). That's just me though

  • My instict was that yes I would. My son is 11 and I can't see him wanting a nose piercing in a couple years, but I would much rather a nose piercing than some of the other piercings kids may want. But I might make it a bit of a fight so he'd think he got one from us when it's something we would have let him do anyway.
