Buy more formula or switch to cows milk?

DS will be 1 in 2 1/2 weeks. We're on the last can of formula. When it runs out next week probably, would you buy more formula or give him milk? He's fully on table food, balanced variety... gets dairy. Hub says milk, I say maybe formula to be safe. Just looking at what other Moms think.

  • Milk :) Its cheaper and you are close enough that it wont matter.

  • Mine is only 8 months but I can't imagine 2 weeks making much of a difference. I would just go with cow's milk. If you're not sure call his doctor

  • Milk, and then go out to eat with the $ you save :)

  • Our pedi. said that anytime after 11 months, pretty much when you run out of formula. I actually asked him that exact question. He said that it's ok to switch. Maybe you could start now and do half milk and half formula or 3/4 formula for a few days the 1/2 then 1/4. That way it will give him time to get used to the milk and the formula will stretch.
