Cutting Dad out...

If your child's father didn't support him or her, would that be reason enough to keep the child from him? What if he had shady criminal history, owed lots of back child support for his other kids, hung around with shady people, etc? Do you think dads should really be allowed to be involved in their child's life if they do nothing to support them?

  • If there i s no court order for visitation...than why the heck would you want your kid around a shaddy scumbag? Run and don't look back when the child is older you can explain things then.

  • IS there an order for child support?
If there is there should be some type of coustody ruling .
If there is no court order for child support then he doesnt even owe you back support.
I would get a lawyer or something.
If you are wanting him away from teh child you can still get court ordered support and the courts saying he cant be around.
That is what I would do.
