can my 1 year old eat tuna out of the can?

he just turned 1 on september 4th.

  • i dont see why not? is she eating it with the juice and everything with the fork and an opened can? Unsafe but im sure she could :)

  • LOL, funny , right out of the can.     Yes, Tuna is ok as long as it is the chuck white Tuna and not the dark cheaper fish they sell.   It also should not be fed more than once or twice a week due to the high mercury count.   The darker the flesh of the fish the more impurities the fish holds in it's flesh.     Other wise Tuna is a great source of protein.    Try canned salmon an even better more nutritious choice.      Salmon contains more of the fatty acids needed for brain growth.

  • NO , my Dr. say's not before two. Their is a lot of mercury in fish.
