lemon juice and pimples..

Has anyone tried putting lemon juice on their face for pimples? I had a friend who told me she uses it...and her face doesnt look bad. Im 34 y/o and look like im a teenager with these bumps that keep popping up .. lol.. I put a little on my face earlier with a cottonball and it stung a little..then stopped..

  • I have tried this too with lemon slices. Boil some water and put your face over it to soak up the steam. This will open you're pores and then put the lemon on. I've also heard toothpaste :) I know its expensive but proactive works really well!

  • I have tried this. But I didn't have juice. I used an actual lemon slice. It did help.

  • Here is how my teen handles her acne: wash your face twice a day with a very mild soap (like unscented baby soap) and a soft wash cloth; follow with a light, oil free moisturizer (she uses Lush). Once a day, before you wash your face, put on a honey mask (just honey, a great anti-bacterial). Every three days add a pinch of baking soda to the honey to exfoliate. Check back with me in two weeks and tell me how this worked.
