  • YES and it drives me BONKERS!! I think it is a right of passage as both of my older boys have gone through that stage. Thankfully they are on the other side, but one more to go. I almost had my oldest son's hearing tested until a friend clued me in. Good luck! I highly suggest saying "what?" back to them every time they say it. It doesn't help, but it sure made me feel better.

  • My kids do it all the time. So the other day it was getting on my "LAST NERVE" and the older one asked me something and I said "what?" Then my youngest said "Momma, he said ____" (whatever it was he said!) and I said "What?" boy did they get annoyed. They saw my point and it worked for the rest of the day but we were back to the same routine yesterday. I HATE IT.
