  • No and if anyone offers anything other than walking or sex don't believe them. If there was something you could really do your doctor would have told you. The baby comes when the baby is ready.

  • pray. then why doesn't your dr do what mine did and set up a induce date. might want to ask about that

  • There is no "safe" way to induce a baby. If s/he is not coming it means your doctor is wrong. For whatever reason, your baby is not "ready" to be born. Walking and sex arent ways to "induce" labor. They are a natural and physiological occurance and wont do anything if baby/body arent ready. Try googling "induction failure" and "induction risks" and remember that it will be over soon no matter how uncomfortable you are now. ACOG does NOT reccomend induction for ANY reason aside from a true medical reason (& that list is short) before 42 weeks. No matter how "big" your baby might appear on ultrasound, there is a reason its not coming now.

  • Your doctor says something that your baby disagrees with. (I'd go with the baby's expertise, lol!)

Maybe you could walk and have sex~ things that you'd be doing anyhow. IF they help, great!

  • A good dinner and at least a four-block walk does it every time. . . . make sure your bags are packed because U should be in labor before the next light of day.
