What do you do?

When you do manage to save some money how do you do it?

Do you just drop the extra change you find laying around in a container or can?

Or do you have a secret compartment where only you will know where it is?

What do you do?

  • Um, a savings account? Automatic deposit into it each payday.

If you mean how do I hide money, I don't need to.

If I did, I would get one of these and put it someplace no one uses an outlet.

  • I bank on-line and when I get paid, I transfer an amount into another account where my hot little debit card can't touch it, leaving myself an allowance until the next payday.  And since it takes 24 hours for an electronic transfer to go through, it also prevents impulse buying.  I find my savings add up fairly quickly that way.

  • Speaking of change jars....I HAD one with enough for milk, bread, etc. or whatever little emergency for a month of Sundays...guess what? He claims he used it in the soda and junk machines at work. JERK!!! Of course, I started another one...ARGH! AS far as my 'other' stash..it usually goes to the kid for something eventually there too! ugh
