  • There are two documents attached to this email for you to look through at your leisure. Please pass this on to anyone you feel would benefit from the information.

In addition to the guidance itself, CDC has developed a toolkit available at http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/childcare/toolkit/. The purpose of the toolkit is to provide information and communication resources to help center-based and home-based child care programs, Head Start programs, and other early childhood programs implement recommendations from CDC's Guidance on Helping Child Care and Early Childhood Programs Respond to Influenza during the 2009-2010 Influenza Season.

  • tyme--thank you for this! I have had four students out with "flu-like" symptoms in the past week. I must say, I am used to the flu season, but never in September and these poor kids look like death on toast--I have sent three home and keep cleaning and sanitizing. Thanks again--even though this is geared toward much younger children, junior high kids seem to forget many simple hygenic steps. :)
