HGC LEVELS

How and when do hgc levels rise? Also, i went to the hospital on monday found out I was pregnant and she told me my levels were at 50 someone told me that's good for a missed period.

  • They start to go up within 2 weeks of the day you had sex depending on when the egg implants. The level doubles everyday so with it being low I'm going to guess you are not very far along.

  • it goes up until somewhere between 24-28 weeks, then it goes back down. at 50 you wouldnt be far along at all.

    That is the chart for hormone levels during pregnancy. As you can see, they vary widely. Your HCG levels rise on their own, and will routinely double every day to every other day in a normal pregnancy. At approximately 24 weeks they stop rising and actually decrease a bit, until they finally even out.
