Most doctors are sued for malpractice. That's why they do so many extra tests, because if they don't it leaves them open to lawsuits and their malpractice insurance will drop them. Thank you for proving WHY we need the reform.

  • See, if Republicans can do such-and-such (adultery, stimulus, wars, homeland security documents, school speeches, teleprompters, etc), then it's okay for Obama and the Dems to do likewise!

...because goodness knows the REPUBLICANS are the standard to which everyone should be held. ROFLMAO!!!!

That's the point here, as it is for most of Sweet's posts. See, she can't point out anything good and worthwhile about her own party to justify her faithful and unwavering support, so she resorts to pointing out the problems with the opposition so she can feel better about herself. It's only human nature.

The conservatives do the exact same thing--only they're even more desperate because they don't have a party to support or that represents them--the ones with brains have long since abandoned the GOP.

As a third party supporter, I find it very entertaining to watch the two sides go back and forth in an endless pissing contest.

  • They ALL use a teleprompter. What is wrong with preparing your statement in advance? I don't get why people get upset when Politicians use notes to give important speeches.
