Is having "Sugar in the Raw" bad for you?

I perfer this type of sugar over the white sugar, but I tend to use too much of it being that I use a very big cup for coffee so instead of coming back and fixing me another cup I just make one pick cup and just sip on it until I feel like I have had enough sometimes I drink it all sometimes I don't

Ok I use 2 tablespoons in my coffee..Is this too much? Probably so :(

This sugar is "Sugar in the Raw" Natural Cane Turbinado Sugar FROM HAWAII.
I bought mine in Walmart.
Thanks ladies for your input.

  • I would assume that sugar in the raw is much the same as white sugar in terms of nutrition. I find that it's sweeter so I don't use as much.

Sugar in the raw is more earth friendly than white sugar.

  • I hear it's better than white refined sugar. Call a health dept nutritionist and find out for sure

  • Oh and since raw sugar has a small amount of molasses in it, it actually has more nutritional value than white sugar.
