Do you purchase your pets meds from a vet or from an online store?

  • I work for a vet so I get mine there. We will not deal directly with pet meds partly because of the stuff the above poster mentioned. Those places also use 'middle men.' The vet gets the supply right form the manufacturer. The places you mentioned get some of there supplies from vets who buy in bulk and the sell to the online companies to make money. Another big issue with us is that you don't know how the product was shipped or stored or how climate controlled the method is.

  • The vet for the thyroid, and heartworm meds, for her ear treatment.

  • the vet. Thee online places are not as great as they are cracked up to be. The manufactures things like heartgard and frontline will not honor there guarantees if bought from an online store. Some drugs on the online stores are from over seas or bought illegally.
