baby clothes.. are u suppose to wash them before the baby wears them??

  • They're covered with sizing (a coating that keeps them smooth for shipping). You need to remove that, you don't want it on a newborn's skin.

  • I was told that clothes can get tiny bugs, ect in them during packaging and shipping...not sure how true that is but I wash them just in case

  • Yes you should. I even wash my new cloths before I wear them. the thought of other people touching them. YUK

  • Yes but don't fall for the whole baby laundry detergent scam. There are the same exact ingrediants in TIDE as there is in Dreft. The only difference was a few years ago is Dreft had a fire retardent in it but back in the late 90's they changed it so all laundery detergent had to have fire retardent in it.

  • I washed them for my first, but by the time I had my 2nd and 3rd I was just too exhausted.
