My niece will be turning two this month and need suggestions on what to get her. She already has a ton of books & puzzles. What toys did your daughter like at this age?

  • Sesame Street toys makes a cute little purse. It is pink plastic and has Zoe on it. Inside is lipstick, change purse, comb, keys and a powder compact. My 2 year old loves hers. Another suggestion is a baby doll.

  • My daughter turned two last month. She loves to fix hair, so she really likes dolls or ponies with hair to comb. She really enjoys playing with Legos (we have the Legos Duplos for ages 1-5). She also really enjoys playing with her brother's cars - I saw a cute pink shake and go car at Toys R Us. If you can find any dress up stuff appropriate for a 2 yo, that would probably be a big hit. My friend's 2 yo DD loves playing with her baby dolls and kitchen stuff.

  • I forgot - my daughter also LOVES to color. She got a giant coloring book and some Tadoodle crayons for her birthday that are really neat. She also has regular coloring books and crayons and a color wonder set. Those are all really great.

  • I got my daughter the Fisher Price Musical Tea Party Set for her 2nd birthday. She loved it and still plays with it to this day (she'll be 7 on Saturday).

  • My daughter turned 2 last month. She is into a car thing now, so they have cute little bug cars (individual or a 5 pack of minis) at Walmart or Toys R Us. I would also suggest a baby doll, a cooking/food set, bath toys, Mega Blocks, Clipos, a play cleaning set, maybe a pop up play house? (check Toys R Us for adventure hut) Umm...that's all I can think of right now :) good luck!
