  • Yes, I have for years since I got bronchoial pneumonia. my girl does too and she's 2 1/2.

  • i have never gotten one and i really dont think i have gotten the flu either, i hardly ever get sick myself .one of my best friends is sick all the time. i just wonder does it effect breast milk?

    No, it's safe during pregnancy and nursing

  • Yep, every year.
    Like one of the PP, I had bronchial pnemonia, as well.

    My dd willprobably get one as well.
    SO got the flu last year, and hates shots, however he is getting one this year as he put it " a second with a needle, or a week with that hell again. i will take the needle."

  • I have asthma, so I always get flu shots. I've also had pnuemonia as well, so I am definitely in the high risk category. Add to that my three kids 5 and under (one of whom is only 2 weeks old) and yea... I'm getting the flu shots this year.

  • nope, and my kids aren't either. every one i know, kids as well, get sick from it. besides, they're giving you a strand from the year before, so there's no guarentee you won't get sick because there are always different strands
