  • It means exactly what it says. What's YOUR interpretation?

Answer by Anonymous at 5:22 PM on Sep. 10, 2009

  • to me it means we better get married now or we won't be with our loved ones in heaven

  • Maybe in heaven you don't need marriage. Since heaven isn't like earth we won't be in earthly bodies and have the same emotions. It's still reasonable to believe that there is a spiritual bond to our loved ones when we get there.

  • Matthew 22:30 and Mark 12:25

  • In Heaven we will not be married to our spouse but married to Jesus the Bridegroom.
In Heaven we will be in our glorified bodies, part of the Bride of Christ, the whole church will be married to Jesus, we will be one with Him. We will celebrate at the Marriage Feast of the Lamb of God.

  • We will be as the angels are. (Matthew 22:30) We won't marry. To me it means we will all be one big family rather than breaking into individual families.
