  • As much as they are going to take. It's always feed on demand. At this age, however, baby food should not replace formula.

  • my 5 month old drinks 32 ounces a day..hes 19 pounds, 28 inches and the doc said that he needed solids right now...i dont know if its going to increase or if its supposed to stay the same with adding solids...so every baby is different but I do believe nutritionists say there is a calorie formula ..something like if baby is 13 pounds then he would need 20 ounces of formula or something like that. best bet is if the doc says he is growing good and at the same healthy rate all is well.
