can pumped milk be left at room temp for 24hrs?

  • Here is a chart I found on about storing/handling breast milk.

    Freshly expressed milk :
    Warm room 79°F / 25°C 4-6 hours
    Room temperature 66-72°F / 19-22°C 10 hours
    Insulated cooler / icepacks 60°F / 15°C 24 hours

  • I was told pumped milk could be left out for 6 hours. stored in fridge for 72 hours and 6 months I think for freezing....I think sorry

  • no it can be at room temp 4-8 hours depending on how warm the room is

  • ive heard only left out for one hour
    either way based on what the women above me are saying 24 hours is wayy too long
