Is this true??

That if you are huper active, nervous, jittery that you should not breastfeed cause you can pass that to your child

  • NOT EVEN! I LIVE WITH GENERAL ANXIETY DISORDER. AND BREASTFED ALL 3 OF MY BOYS. I TAUGHT MYSELF TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND FEED MY CHILDREN AND USE THE TIME AS A CALMING TOOL. I HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE.

  • I think you mean hyperactive, and unless there is an underlying disorder causing it that is contageous or genetic, then no. Where do you people come up with these rediculous questions?

  • Well that takes the cake on breastfeeding myths I've heard lol.

    That is absolutely false, in fact breastfeeding may calm you down since it releases hormones meant to relax you.
