  • when my daughter was almost 1 years old she couldnt walk yet but she would sit there and rock herself back and forth. she would also do this starring thing. she didnt know really how to play with toys or what the purpose of them was for. flapping arms wasnt really one of those things she did all the time, but she did do it. she was real quiet and kept to herself a lot. she acted as if she was "lost" in her own world i guess. she is now 13 years old. and still very strange she doe not act her age. plays with dolls still. she has no interest in makeup, dong her hair etc. as if she had the mind of a 9 or 10 year old i guess. it was never clear is she had autism. shes never been tested. my husband always felt that even if she did, that is just the way it is. he does not believe in pills or anything, and says theres nothing the doctors can do that we cannot do. so we let her be the way she is.
