How many times is too many to call a potential employer?

I have two jobs that I have applied for at different hospitals and both have called me back and told me they would be interested in interviewing me but that is the last I have heard out of them. So I called them yesterday and the day before, but have received no response so should I call them again today or wait a day or two?

  • IMO, Employers are like dates. If they do not call you, they do not want to hire you/see you again.
    Move on.

  • A week in corporate time is like 3 seconds in the real world.

Do you have an email address for the hiring manager?

  • Yes I have the email addresses of both of them and they have both told me that as soon as productivity picks up in the respiratory department I have the job, but I have to wait and that is the worst part. So I don't know how much is too much on my part.
