  • The pain is usually caused when the egg is released from the ovary to the fallopian tube. There are some remedies that may help ease the pain during ovulation.

The most important is to get plenty of rests. Doctors recommend drinking 8 glasses of water a day, whether you are ovulating or not, and this seems to help. Heat also helps cramps during ovulation. You can try a heating pad on the area that is hurting, either the right or left side of your abdomen. Or you could try taking a warm bath that will also help you relax.

  • I would be doubled over in pain when I ovulated, but that's because I got cysts every month. Before that I would get a dull ache every month
