What does it mean when you have a metallic taste in you mouth?

  • You are anemic. It means there is not enough iron in your blood. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but trust me. Go to Wally World and grab a bottle of ferrous sulfate(iron) supplements and pop one a day. Watch out for diarrhea that first week, it can be a doozy! LOL

  • It can also be caused by antibiotics or prenatal vitamins or even a food allergy. Also make sure you have good oral hygiene

  • There was a lady on mystery diagnosis, her brain fluid (don't know the technical term) was draining into her sinus and she was tasting it in the back of her throat. Obviously, a rare occurance, but that's the first thing that comes to mind. :)
