breathing technique?

how does the breathing technique that they teach in lamaze go?

  • I read the book. See if there is a website. If nothing else, just make sure when a contraction starts you take a slow deep breath and get the diaphragm up off the uterus. When the contraction lets up then blow out slowly then breath naturally until the next one.

  • i didnt go to lamaze but my mom coached me through my labor. the first half was two short breathes (he he ) then let it out (whooo) then when the pain got worse it was three he's lol it worked for me, had the baby not been upside down giving me back labor and the epi wore off the left side of me making my hips burn lol......but i was good up until almost an 8.......
