HOW DO I MAKE A DECORATIVE SLEEVE FOR MY CHANDELIER??

I'D REALLY LIKE TO MAKE A REALLY PRETTY SLEEVE 4 MY CHANDELIER. I'VE SEEN THEM ALL THE TIME ROMANTIC COUNTRY MAGAZINE, WITH NO INSTRUCTION. I'M REALLY HOPING 1 OR MORE OF YOU LOVELY LADIES CAN HELP ME . ANY HELP, TIPS, ETC WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. :}

  • ahhh.. ok. Well for that you just need to cut a long length of fabric and sew a tube. you can make it velcro so you dont have to take the whole fixture down to take it off.. you dont actually even have to sew it if you use fusible tape (it acts like glue when its heated between two pieces of fabric with an iron) and use iron on velro

  • are you talking about the little shades for the bulbs? if so.. use this pattern: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/wincanlamfro.html
    and see if it fits... use paper. If it fits, perfect! If not... you can mess around with the size.. enlarge/shrink it.

    otherwise im not sure I understand what you mean by sleeve
