Ok so my 9 month hasn't learned to crawl but learned to sit up and to somewhat pull herself up and now when she is so tired and i lay her down for a nap all she does is sit up or try to pull herself up and it will be an hour or so of me laying her back down so she will nap its ruff cause all with that she is teething so she needs to nap what advice do you have should i just leave her sitting in her crib will she fall asleep eventually or will she play and never sleep? I don't know these things she is our first so i don't know... we are going to lower her crib so she won't fall out too...

  • She will fall asleep evenuatly, let her sit their if she plays good as long as she is staying in the crib she will be okay. Dont think of it as you have to nap time think of it as down time if she is sitting their quietly she is claming down and relaxing if she starts to get fussy or cry let her she will cry herself to sleep

  • Her crib should have been lowered already, as soon as she was sitting.

    Crawling doesn't matter.

    Teething doesn't have a darn thing to do with any of it.

    Don't just lay her down. She knows how to get up, she doesn't know how to get down. You have to show her, teach her. It will take more than a few tries, but don't just lay her down. Guide her body and show her how to get herself down.
