heartburn.....

i have heartburn so bad at night that i cant sleep.. i dont know what i can take, i am 26 weeks . i just wish i could get it to stop.. now my nose is stopped up. i hate to sound like im complaining, but i am.. lol. and solutions

  • I use lemon juice concentrate. It works well for me.

  • Drink a large glass of water at the first sign of heartburn, if the symptoms are not too strong this will help.

  • I had seriously bad heartburn when I was pregnant and it was constant until she arrived. I would have to use tums thats pretty much the only thing that worked and try avoiding spicy foods.

  • Try papaya enzyme; you can buy it at a health food store or a natural food store (like whole foods).

  • i took tums and benadryl while pregnant made me feel alot better!

  • have you ever seen a whole food market around.. they have all kind of things for pregnancy (cures for EVERYTHING).. that are organic ... beside that im sorry im no help.i never had the bad heartburn.

  • tums. . . if it is really really bad ask your doc if they can suggest something stronger. . . also avoid dairy and fatty foods close to bedtime because these foods tend to digest slower and cause more heartburn. . .

  • my dr told me I could take prilosec, but check with your dr first because I don't know if it is safe for everyone in every situation. Please ask your dr first.

  • I have become a pro at that! I know this may sound bad but I take a tums extra strength 750, 1 maalox, and 1 Pepcid. It has seemed to work quite well for me! I feel like I could spit out fire sometimes its so bad!
