If he refuses to sign the divorce, what happens?

  • He doesn't have to sign them to get the divorce. Signing them only means he agrees to the division of property and child support. If he doesn't show up for court after being served then you win the settlement by default. Check with your attorney to verify your state laws though.

  • yea not signing means its not a amicable divorce and now has to go before the courts....it will all get sorted out there.
