Approved In-Flight scissors (or other cutting tool)?

I will be taking a really really long flight soon and I have been thinking that I would like to bring something to occupy myself with. I would love to sew or crochet in flight (I know that knitting needles are permitted) but is there ANY THING I can bring to cut the yarn or thread with? Anything at all?

  • Oh, that's good to hear. I always wondered how someone would hijack a plane with nail clippers. They're really not very threatening.
