What do I add to regular white rice to make it mexican rice?

What kind of seasonings can I add?

  • My husband is hispanic and puts in tomato boullian we get from either SuperWalMart in the Latino isle or from a hispanic/mexican store. He also browns a lb of hamburger and puts with the rice. YUM!

  • My mom has a good recipe that is quick and easy. brown the rice in oil and throw in a chopped onion saute it and then add one can chicken broth and one can enchilada sauce (to desired amount of spicy) bring to a boil and let simmer for about 18 min. Then add salt, pepper, and cilantro.

  • jasmine rice w/ soy sauce and peppers/onions.. mix well and put inGoya sauce from jar.. and mix with beans and Goya sa'son mix!
    *jasmine rice-long grain
    *soy sauce
    *1/2 green pepper/red
    *1/2 onion chopped
    *Goya sauce in jar..sofrito
    *sa'son in package..
    cook for 20 min and woola
