What is spanking?

Just curious what your families definition of spanking is?

Ask your kids to define the word "spanking" and you will be surprised at what answers they come up wiht.

  • I don't have to ask my child what his definition is. I am the parent, the child does as I say. Only weenies ask their kids what to do...

  • at my house a "spanking is three swats on the butt with the bare hand or wooden spoon
    a "beating" (yes we use this word) is five swats on the butt with dad's belt

    just because i know CM - if you dont like it, call CPS on my butt

  • We do not spank. There is NO REASON TO HIT A CHILD! It only teaches them it is okay to hit! My kids are all very well behaved, well-mannered and respectful and they have never been spanked. My definition of spanking is abuse.
