  • MP3, Ipod, Video Game, those seem to be in demand these days, you could also get her a nice hairbrush set, a manicure set with some nail polish, a few good classic books, Heidi, Old Yellar, Little Women, a lot of it depends on what she likes.

  • My 12 yr. old likes crafty stuff, she also likes webkinz, and beauty supplies like nail polish. Oh, and clothes can be fun too at that age.

  • the other moms' suggestions are good!! Another suggestion I would make would be to get her a mall giftcard. its kind of like a regular gift card but it can be used for ANY store in the mall. this way she can pick out exactly what she wants.

  • yep kids are into 11yo just informed me she wants an MP3 player and a laptop for her birthday!!!! yea...laptop...theres no way! LOL
but MP3 players arent that expensive anymore! i got mine for work at was 40 bucks, has a 2gig harddrive (wich holds about 200 songs) AND has a radio....make sure if you DO get her one to read the box, ALOT of them dont have the radio feature.

  • At that age I start giving gift cards to our mall, which covers every store in the mall or specific stores like aero, limited too, claire's, or walmart so they can get what they want.

  • I would go to Aeropostale and either get a gift card, or a few shirts. My nieces love that store and they have very cute, reasonably priced things.

  • Clothes! My girls love Aeropostale, Pac Sun, Delias, Forever 21, and Abercrombie. I recommend a girt card because at that age, their style changes quickly and it's hard to keep up. Your best bet is juniors stores because at that age, they are more like a teen than a child, and clothes are more fitting for their developing bodies. Stores like Claires, Justice and Limited Too seem too babyish and sell cheap quality things.
If clothes shopping isn't your area of expertise, an iTunes card is good, too :)

  • All good suggestions. If she has an ipod an "ITUNES" gift card is nice. Or I agree w/crafty kits.
