Why is she breathing like that?

When my daughter get's really excited or really wants something, she does this weird panting thing, almost exactly how a dog would. Is this normal? She opens her mouth wide, too, like she's yawning, but she's just panting. She's 8 months old, btw.

  • Yes babies do this sometimes, and don't jump to conclusions about autism if she starts flapping her arms up and down too while excited, babies do that too :)

  • To be honest, since I'm adhd, I used to jump up and down and flap my arms. I just had way too much energy!
