Is this sentence grammatically correct? If not can you fix it for me lol?

I am showing a different side of my personality to give the proper impression to those whom respect I seek.

Is whom the right word?

  • No, but the sentence is awkward and stilted. What kind are you writing this for?

  • I think so too anon, thanks! It's for a speech class. The sentence doesn't make sense cuz it's straight out of a discussion.

  • I think it should be better if it ended "to those whose respect I seek."

  • Whom is always used after a preposition i.e. "to whom" "with whom" "of whom".

The more I type that word, the less it looks like a word. Odd.
