daddy is practically refusing to hold our baby, has anyone else had a SO who did this?

our son is 3 mo's old. we also have a 4 y.o. daughter. he held her TONS when she was a baby, i remember. he carried her around on his arm alot, face down (i can't remember what that hold is called, lol, but she enjoyed it) and i'm just confused because he doesn't want to hold our son. he won't even pick him up when he is crying. one night i was putting our daughter to bed and the baby started crying and he picked him up, and after five minutes he made me come take him, cause he wouldn't stop. i told him he needs to spend more time with him. i'm just so stressed out all the time, and it would be nice if he would hold him sometimes. he's only going to be little once. has anyone else gone thru this?

  • dont be sad,he is been around a 4 year old too long :) so a brand new baby might just seem scary doesnt mean he dont love him he just forgot what it was like.
