Do your children sleep more when they are growing?

My daughter was sleeping from 7pm till 630 or 7am.....now she gets into bed at 6pm to sleep cause its daylight here (in the morning now whereas it used to be dark at 7am) and she is awake at 6.15 or 6.30....wondering if she is having a growth spurt perhaps.....anyone elses child sleep more for any reason?
