Do you think the President should be ridiculed for calling Kanye a Jackass?

Kanye is a jackass, everybody knows this. Should the president get slammed for something he said off record? Is he not allowed to give his honest opinion when the camera's arent rolling?

  • I think it's bullshit. Kanye acted like a jackass, he got called a jackass. I think it's funny that the president called him a jackass. He's allowed to have his own opinions.

  • Freedom of speech applies to the president too. BUT as the president, he should realize that nothing is off the record.

  • H alleluia!!!! Obama says something I like and agree with!!!!

Maybe Kanye heard gets it now, since it came from the president!

I am surprised though.....that Obama didn't down play it and defend him!

We all have our bright moments, even Obama!!! lol ;)

  • You know, I am not an Obama fan, but I totally agree with him on this and was actually glad to hear him say it. Makes him seem a little more human, since it's what the rest of us are thinking.

  • Is anyone ridiculing him for saying it? I have only heard people (from BOTH sides) saying they agree with him.

  • Why should he be ridiculed for telling the truth? Kanye was a jackass. He was totally disrespectful and rude to someone who didn't deserve it. I look at it this way: He stated his opinion when he interrupted Taylor. So now, the rest of the world gets to state their opinion. And just like Taylor had to stand there and listen to him, he needs to stand there and listen to everyone else.
