For those of you who had swollen legs, ankles, and feet....

How long after giving birth did it go away or did you notice it was alot better? I have to get dress shoes for a wedding that is about 2 weeks after my due date and I just wanted to know if I could pick some out now and hope they fit afterwards, since I can't try them on.

  • It depends on how much time you spend on your feet. Since I was running to the NICU for 2 weeks afterwards, the swelling didn't go down until the 3rd week. so with that in mind, as long as you keep off your feet as much as possible, they should be down by the 2nd week

  • I would honestly recommend waiting to buy anything. You could lose the water very quickly, and end up having to take those back anyhow. Everyone is different!! Good luck and congrats!
