Is 4ozs of formula every 3hrs too much 4 a 3 week old?

  • No when they are hungry feed them. Mine drank 3-4 OZ every 1.5 hours. He is super happy and healthy. I was so worried about doing it by the book but every baby is different so you know what youre needs. :)

  • nope, tha'ts what my baby was taking at 3 weeks old (still is at 5 weeks)

  • I am not sure how it is with FF baby's but I nursed on demand.

    I would not limit a baby's diet that early. If baby is hungry feed the baby.

    It doesnt seem like a lot-my son nursed every 2 hours.

  • that is not to much if it your son or daughter still seems hungry id try to give him some more then 4oz . at 3 weeks old my son was at 8 oz ever 4 hours and slept through the night but every baby is different
