Bridezilla

I'm the matron of honor in a wedding in May. I want your opinion; is the bride asking too much of me? Here are just a few things from her long list she sent me to do:
*Do engagement photos *Floral arrangements *Create save the dates and mail them *Set up place for rehearsal dinner
*Do invitation wording *Do wedding favors *Shower and bachelorett party *Get hotel rates for out of town guests
*Music selection for wedding *Address and mail wedding invitations

Shouldn't some of this be the bride's job? Like the invitations?

  • LOL, Weddings have become so damned outrageous these days. I did all my own stuff for my wedding. My sister was my matron of honor and she lived out of town. Weddings have almost become a competition

  • Is it your wedding or hers? Im a little lost I now that there was a lot of that like the invites and the rehearsal dinner that I would not want any one to do other than me. she could ask for your help but it is not your job to do it it is hers.

  • If I was really mean, I would choose polka music! Why would a bride want someone else to choose her music?Do engagement photos *Floral arrangements *Create save the dates and mail them *Set up place for rehearsal dinner *Do invitation wording - this should all be her job.

  • I think that this only time where the bride can get away with everything.

Let the bride be a bride (spoiled). Have a wonderful wedding.
