Can a mom REFUSE government services for her disabled child?

  • I would think so since you have to apply for it. I have never been offered services other than what the school has to offer you and even that you have to initiate on your own and you can refuse it.

  • I wouldn't I'd want all the help I could get, even if I was suffering right now, when your son gets better you will be able to go back to work and do more financially, right now your doing all you can as a mom.

  • If you don't use the services then there are other families that will gladly take them. (specially illegal immigrants).
