is there a vet in the house??!!

Yesterday, I was cleaning the bedroom & I was letting my ferret run around while doing so. I walked over to see what he was chewing on & he had eaten almost a whole Halls Cough Drop!!
& now, he's been making a few funny noises.
He hasn't ever hardly made a sound since I got him.
He is about 5 months old.

Could they have possibly hurt him?
yes, I do plan on calling his vet tomorrow.
I'm just worried.
Thanks girls.
:]

  • A real one, probably not. A ton of moms who play vets on Cafemom, lots.

He won't have stinky breath for a while anyways. Call your vet and find out what to do. I don't think anything would happen, but, I don't honestly know.

    Good Luck!

  • I'd look in the phone book or google vets with emergency services if your vet doesn't have night time coverage, and get an opinion.

  • How about Pet Nurse Marie...

Give your baby some canned pumpkin - 1 -2 teaspoons of pure canned pumpkin - to push the cough drop down and coat it...

Don't worry - one or even two won't hurt your baby..
