How do you clean your couch?

Not just vacuuming but the whole scrub without needing 10 days to dry out?

  • Call a professional upholstery cleaner. That's the way you get it done right. Should cost $75-90 or so for a normal sized couch and will be much, much better than what you can do yourself, as long as you hire the right company.

  • is the mess/stain/spill just on the outer cushion or has it seeped thru to the inner foam? outer cushion material can be thrown in the washer ( I do it all the time) line dry. Do not put in dryer it may shrink and you will never get it back on the cushion. Do you have a carpet shampooer? you can use that then l;ay the cushions out in the sun to dry. in the future keep the furniture covered with a thick blanket or old bed spread. ours is always covered and only removed for washing and company. Our couch is 4 years old and looks brand new

  • You can get an upholstery hose with a Rug Doctor rental and clean it yourself. It takes a couple of days to dry, but does a pretty good job.
