  • Dont be hurt. He wants to explore, not be held. Thats all. he' learning he can get around on his own.

  • my son is the opposite, wants to be held constantly, and i have to encourage him to go play. i think if ur son just wants to explore and play, its not a personal rejection of his mommy. do what i do, cuddle him when he falls asleep at night, cuz thats the only time he's gonna be a sweet little baby lol cuz when he's awake its go go go

  • It is probably what previous posters had stated that he just wants to explore. Some babies want to be held all the time, want mommy/daddy time all the time, and don't care to get down and explore. Other children want nothing to do with their parents and want to explore all the time. Does your child at least not mind being held when you're carrying him to get his diaper changed, or from the car to the store? Or does he seem to be distant from you regardless of the situation?
