it's time for my dog's flea bath...

but I am 23 weeks pregnant. my husband has been doing it for me but he's not here now. Do you guys think it is safe to give her the bath myself? I really don't want to take her to the groomer and pay 60 bucks to do it.

  • How big a dog is she? If she is a larger breed and enjoys a bath, I don't see any harm in giving her the bath. Same for if she is a smaller dog, if, however, you have a dog that doesn't enjoy a bath and will struggle with you, I'd wait until hubby could do it.

  • I usually wear gloves so that stuff doesnt soak into your skin.

  • op- hubby is deployed for a year and so can't do it. she is a 70 pound lab but likes baths just fine. I was more worried about the pesticides in the flea shampoo and what harm if any it could do to the baby.
