Is it typical for an employer to mail your last paycheck if you've quit or been laid off or fired?

  • Ok that's a relief. We only got about $60 direct deposited from his former employer and we were expecting around $500, so we were hoping this was the case. I will have him call them and find out if they are mailing it or if he needs to pick it up.

  • I had direct deposit and when I left my job the last paycheck was deposited like normal. Definitely call them and find out what happened to his pay.
